For each stage of the home buying process, Jeff and Eva mapped out the steps ahead, explained what each involved, and expanded with more information as needed. They also reviewed all documents ahead of time when needed to highlight any information requiring additional attention; such as any disclosures about a particular property. They even came prepared with snacks and drinks for refueling amidst the long days of moving from one place to the next, because quite frankly it was really easy to forget to fuel up without the reminder. Throughout each visitation, Jeff and Eva were thorough in providing us with various considerations for each of the properties we saw. In the end though, the stars aligned and it turned out the first one really had everything we were looking for and more. Then came the next anxious step of making an offer the sellers would accept but without overpaying. There were numerous paths for how to proceed, but ultimately Jeff and Eva helped us make a successful offer without going over the asking price nor engaging in a bidding war; two things we really wanted to avoid. As we entered contract and began working with a lender to finalize our mortgage, Jeff and Eva continued to help by sharing a calendar outlining when various documents or tasks would be due, talking us through what they meant, and advising how to resolve any outstanding issues (like action items from an inspection report) should they come up. As a result, we had no anxieties handling the paperwork as Jeff and Eva had already provided us with context and understanding of what the documents meant and what actions they would necessitate (if any). The stellar service didn’t end upon receiving the keys however. Committed to excellence as they are, both have reached out to us in the weeks since to make sure everything is as expected and to share some tips for new homebuyers as we settle in. If anyone in the area is looking to buy or rent a home, we definitely recommend giving Jeff and Eva a call first.

After speaking with a few agents, I decided to introduce my buyers to Jeff and Eva as they seemed the most knowledgeable and diligent. I had extremely high expectations of them to begin with, but somehow they managed to exceed them all. Jeff and Eva Chen were a great pleasure to work with and helped me buy my first home in Daly City. They spent a lot of time helping me find the right home and were very patient with me.
